Turmeric has been used in traditional cuisines and skin care rituals in South Asia and the Middle East for thousands of years, and is now one of the most highly-prized spices in the world. It is known to improve skin imperfections, control oil and calm the skin. Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of this "Golden Root" will revive your skin by bringing out it’s natural glow and help blur the signs of aging.

also known as Centella Asiatica, has been extensively used in Ayurvedic medicine across Asia. It is rich in amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids, and numerous potent phytochemicals. Gotu Kola has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-oxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties, acts as a toner for the skin and is even known to promote skin's collagen production.

Indian Gentian Leaf extract has been proven to help support the tone and texture of skin by supporting cell turnover, revealing healthier and more resilient skin. It has been known to help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, especially vertical wrinkles on the skin.

Research shows rose oil exhibits strong batericidal activities, which makes it a great ingredient for acne prone skin. It also is known to calm and sooth the skin. For thousands of years, ginger has been revered as an anti-aging ingredient in both Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Ginger's antioxidant, gingerol, not only fights skin-damaging free radicals, but also promotes smoothness and evenness in the skin tone. Ginger is also known to promote skin renewal, improve blood circulation, reduce the appearance of hyper-pigmentation, and combat blemishes.

Papaya is loaded with vitamins and nutrients that make it great for your skin, hair and body. Such nutrients include vitamins A and C, which are highly concentrated and helpful in building collagen. Papain, an enzyme present in papaya, is known to be very effective in skin renewal, skin lightening, and improving clogged pores. It also functions as an exfoliator, skin softener, moisturizer and helps fight acne. The enzyme also helps the skin combat free radicals and preventing premature aging.

Hibiscus is a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), an ingredient that performs many benefits for the skin. AHAs are known to help exfoliate and control oily skin and clogged pores, all of which can encourage fresher, younger, and smoother looking skin. Hibiscus also increases the moisture of your skin resulting in the increased firmness, giving hibiscus the nickname, the “Botox plant”.

Chlorophyll in matcha green tea can protect the skin from sun damage; and impurities and chemicals in the environment that could clog pores. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) found in matcha gives it great antibacterial and antibiotic properties to help with acne prone skin. This antioxidant also promotes smoother and more supple skin due to its ability to rejuvenate skin cells and support skin structure. Matcha also has the power to reduce puffiness, skin inflammation, and dark under eye circles because of its high vitamin K content that promotes better blood circulation.

An essential oil native to the Arabian Peninsula and Northeastern Africa, Frankincense is an ancient ingredient with many known skin benefits including its ability to strengthen skin; improve its tone and elasticity; and build defense mechanisms against bacteria or blemishes. Studies have shown frankincense to have anti-inflammatory properties. It also stimulates cell regeneration and protects older cells from free radical damage.

The antiseptic, antioxidant, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties of neem help calm the skin and control oil. Neem is also known to clear pigmented skin and even the skin tone. All parts of the Neem tree - roots, bark, gum, leaves, fruit, seed, kernels and seed oil have been used in therapeutic preparations for internal and topical use for thousands of years. In Ayurveda, Neem tree has been described as “ sarva roga nivarini” (keep all diseases at bay) for a reason.
